Most Successful: I honestly feel like this is my most successful artwork because I worked really hard on it and the thought of making it made me excited to start working on it. I wanted to do something really unique with the layering theme and I think I really accomplished that.
Overcoming Obstacles: This piece I tried created a clock and it honestly wasn't going in my favor. As I was trying to make designs on the edge of the clock and hands decided to both fall off because they weren't fully dry. I overcame it and didn't let it upset me because I knew I had to finish it. I had planned to do a lot more to it like add the number but the clay had become too hard and I wouldn't have been able to score and slip them on there. I figured it would just be best and easier to glaze on the numbers and make designs on the clock.
Growth: My two pieces that show my growth are my feather that I worked on at the beginning of the year and my blooming flower. I feel like it was hard working on the feather because you have to concentrate working on the strokes of the weather and get them right but I obviously didn't do them right. I wish I would of worked more on this flower and actually paid attention to the way I glazed it because the colors came out weird.
My flower that I made I feel like I got the idea first and just let my hands do all the work. I was very satisfied with my piece because it came out really nice. I felt so accomplished because I didn't think I could of made something like that but I did and didn't regret the direction I went in. I feel like it shows growth because I learned to work faster and add the clay on without the under layer drying out because that has been a big problem for me.

This semester being able to work on our own had its pros and cons. I feel like having a deadline for our pieces to be done made us work on our artwork more often but by working on our own I feel like we slacked big time. In result some of my pieces kind of took long then it should have and I only made three pieces and I feel like there should have been more. I didn't have frustrations except for the idea on what to do. The pros of to working like this is that people can work on there own and whatever they would like depending on the theme. The cons to working on your own time is that people tend to not work on there artwork and would put there artwork aside and worry about other things. It takes a lot of responsibility and some people just don't know what that is.
